The Taxman Cometh, November 2007
The Taxman Cometh event at the Calgary Zoo was a huge success; participants enjoyed tax strategy advice from Dan Clark of Clark Adams Professional Accountants and left with some valuable information and handouts. Stephen Freedman, VP Parklane Financial Group made a thought provoking presentation on the controversial Donations Program and let the audience in on some information that is unknown to the average taxpayer. As with all our events, we had an amazing array of sponsor gifts that were given away at the end of the seminar. Congratulations to all our winners.

The Elephants in the Myths event at the Calgary Zoo was a huge success. We learned about great new investment opportunities that are emerging as the Baby Boomers enter and near retirement. We also learned about "investment elephants" and the emotional myths that support them.
